Diamond Dancers, located in Endeavour Hills, is a dance school offering both recreational and competition dance classes for boys and girls of all ages. With a commitment to providing the diamond standard in dance education, Diamond Dancers aims to help students reach their full potential and shine bright.

The competition programme at Diamond Dancers is designed for dedicated students who want to take their dancing to the next level. Students attend weekly stretch, strengthen, and technique classes to improve their skills. They also have the opportunity to take classes in ballet, jazz, acrobatics, lyrical/contemporary, tap, and hip hop. Private lessons are available for personalised training and to learn choreography for competition solos.

In addition to dance training, students learn theory, terminology, and anatomy related to dance. They may also receive mini homework tasks to practise and improve outside the studio. Diamond Dancers is committed to providing 100% support to students and their families, both inside and outside the dance studio. Teachers attend dance competitions to watch students shine on stage and help with competition organisation, costume selection, music preparation, and provide various growth opportunities.

For students interested in recreational dance, Diamond Dancers offers a programme focused on pure enjoyment of dance. Dance is not only a great physical activity that helps children stay fit and healthy, but it also enhances social skills, communication, teamwork, and cooperation. Recreational students can attend weekly classes in ballet, tap, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, hip hop, singing, and acrobatics.

The Mini Movers programme, called “Once Upon a Ballet & Jazz,” is tailored to children aged 2-4. This curriculum is based on stories and fairy tales that change every four weeks. Mini Movers will be introduced to the magical world of storytelling and make-believe while learning fundamental dance skills and steps.

Diamond Dancers encourages students to perform and compete not only in Australia but also worldwide. The school has participated in various competitions and shows, including Follow Your Dreams (FYD) Regional and National Competitions, Energy Dance Competition, Prodigy Dance Competition, Arnold Sports Festival Dance Competition, Evolution Dance Competition, Time to Shine Dance Competition, Rainbow Dance Competition, Kids Artistic ReVue (KAR) Dance Competition, Southern Dance Festival, as well as the opening act of the Masters of Choreography shows “Beats on Pointe” and “Dance Cult Classics” Junior Show. They also participate in various school and council fetes/events.
