Welcome to Devizes Karate Club! Located at Southbroom Infants School on The Green, Devizes, our club is the longest-standing and well-established karate club in the area. Led by our Club Chief Instructor, Nacer Boudebza, all training is done under his supervision.
At Devizes Karate Club, we pride ourselves on offering regular training in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our classes are designed to cater to all ages, genders, and abilities, ensuring that everyone can participate and benefit from the martial arts practise. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, you will find a place in our club.
In addition to our regular training sessions, we offer a range of other services. We conduct local gradings, allowing members to progress through the ranks and earn recognition for their efforts. We also provide specialised tuition for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that everyone can engage in karate and experience its benefits.
Furthermore, we believe in the importance of kata bunkai, or practical application of karate forms. To promote this, we organise an annual Kata and Kumite competition, where members can showcase their skills and compete against fellow practitioners. We also host an annual residential camp, providing an immersive karate experience and promoting camaraderie among members.
All our classes are taken by fully qualified and CRB approved instructors, guaranteeing a safe and professional learning environment. As a club, we are fully affiliated to the Katsu-Mi Kai Association, ensuring that our members receive quality instruction and have access to a wealth of resources.
If you are interested in joining our club, we offer the first lesson for free. This way, you can experience our training firsthand and decide if karate is for you. We operate on a pay-as-you-train basis, allowing flexibility in attendance and commitment.
