When it comes to trout fishing, you have the flexibility to choose between bait or fly methods. Additionally, coarse fishing for roach and pike is available, and you're welcome to employ any method you prefer along all the banks. We also take pride in ensuring that our disabled anglers can fully enjoy their fishing experience at Derwent. That's why we've installed a disabled access platform on the south side of the dam.
To guarantee your fishing success, we stock our fish directly from our own Teesdale fish farm. Keep an eye out for the tagged fish, as they could potentially lead you to some exciting cash prizes. And don't worry about your fishing method restrictions because you're allowed to use loose feed and ground bait regardless of your preference.

Note that proof of cohabitation might be requested.
