We take out smaller groups, allowing for a more intimate and immersive experience. Safety is our top priority, and our well-trained trekking horses are suitable for riders of all skill levels.
One of the highlights of our centre is the variety of routes available for our treks. Unlike other places where horses may become familiar with the canter paths, our treks are always different, providing a unique and thrilling experience every time. To book a trek, pre-booking is essential. You can text, email, or send a Facebook message to reserve your spot. Please provide us with information about your riding abilities and the preferred date(s) of your trek. For last-minute bookings on the same day, there is a surcharge of 2 per person.

If you want guidance and tuition during your trek, we offer a one-to-one instruction service. We believe in learning in a real horse-riding environment rather than just riding in a menage.
Our treks take you through the picturesque Derbyshire countryside, including Poulter Country Park, Scarcliffe Park Woods, and the charming villages of Whaley and Elmton. For longer treks, you may venture to Creswell Crags, a limestone gorge with fascinating caves from the Ice Age, and Shirebrook Woods, which offers serene bridlepaths lined with pine trees. From the viewpoint on top of Poulter Country Park, you can enjoy breathtaking views across four counties: Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire.
