Pilates instructor. With her passion for movement and helping others, Louise decided to open her own Pilates studio in Derby, called “Derby Pilates”.

At Derby Pilates, both group and one-to-one Pilates classes are offered. Led by fully qualified Level 3 Pilates instructor, Louise Oliver, participants can experience the many benefits of Pilates in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether you're a beginner or have more experience, Derby Pilates caters to all levels and allows you to learn and exercise at your own pace.

Louise is a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and CIMSPA at Level 3, ensuring that you're receiving instruction from a knowledgeable and certified instructor.

Group Pilates classes take place in Allestree and Little Eaton on Tuesday and Thursday evenings respectively. These classes are limited in size to provide participants with individual attention and guidance. To secure your spot in the group classes, it is recommended to book in advance. Each six-week block of classes costs 42.

If you prefer a more personalised approach, Derby Pilates also offers one-to-one and small group sessions at their base in Highfield Chiropractic Clinic on Kedleston Road. These individual sessions allow for a more detailed assessment of your exercise requirements, which may be especially beneficial if you have or are recovering from an illness or injury. Additionally, for those new to Pilates, one-to-one sessions can help build confidence and strength before joining a matwork class.
