Freediving Family is thrilled to present Deep Week Mexico, a truly unparalleled event for freedivers of all levels. From May 25th to June 1st, 2024, participants will have the chance to dive into the enchanting cenotes of Valladolid, Yucatan, and immerse themselves in the world of freediving like never before.
These freshwater sinkholes, known as cenotes, offer a magical underwater playground with crystal-clear turquoise waters and unique limestone formations. From haloclines creating mirages to layers of sulfur leading to perfect darkness, each cenote holds its own mesmerizing wonders waiting to be explored.
Not only will participants have the opportunity to train and dive in these spectacular cenotes, but they will also get to experience the vibrant Mexican culture, indulge in delicious tacos, and dance to lively salsa music. The event will be hosted at Ecotel Quinta Regia in downtown Valladolid, serving as a comfortable base for all participants throughout the week.
