Dead Centre Bowhunters Inc., the local archery club in Arumbera, invites you to an exciting archery event! Whether you're an experienced archer or just starting out, DCBH has something for everyone.

Located within the Alice Springs Shooting Club Complex on government crown land, DCBH offers a range of archery activities for enthusiasts of all levels. With various shooting ranges available, you can practice archery using traditional bows or the latest high-tech compound bows.

If you're new to archery, don't worry! DCBH provides 'Introduction to Archery' courses where accredited coaches will guide you through the basics and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. To book a session, simply email dcbhinquiry@ntarchery.org.au. The cost is A$25 per person, and group bookings can be arranged upon request. Please arrive on time, as registration and equipment setup start at 10 am.

DCBH hosts activities and shoots every Sunday from February to December. You can find the club's shoot calendar for 2023, detailing all the events and activities throughout the year. These include practice sessions and organised shoots on different ranges, all dependent on weather conditions and shoot discipline.

During the organised shoots, the practice range will be closed as per ABA regulations, and coaching will not be available. Additionally, DCBH organises formal ABA Grading Shoots approximately once a month, with shoot results submitted to ABA National for official national grading.

If you're a visiting archer who is a member of ABA Ltd. or an affiliated archery association, you're more than welcome to join DCBH for shooting sessions. Kindly note that there might be some charges involved, and you can find further information in the club's rules and guidelines.

For individuals interested in becoming a member, DCBH offers the opportunity to participate in the sport for three visits. After that, full membership is mandatory. By becoming a member, you'll enjoy various benefits, including insurance coverage through the Australian Bowhunting Associations. The cost of DCBH and ASSC membership is valid from July 1st to June 30th.
