Hey everyone,
Mark here, one of your friendly organisers at Ddaps Dartford Lakes. π£
We've got some exciting stuff going on in our fishing club, situated right here in Dartford, Kent. Since 1931, our mission has been to preserve fish and angling amenities in our lovely waters. Mark's been working endlessly with local authorities and landowners to fight river pollution and promote fair angling practices.
At Ddaps Dartford Lakes, we offer fantastic angling opportunities for all species of freshwater fish. Whether you're in Dartford, Tonbridge, Sutton at Hone, or Horton Kirby, or casting your line in the Rivers Medway, Beult, and Tiese, there's a spot for you. The atmosphere is always peaceful, and we remind everyone to be courteous and respectful.
With around 3,000 members (and counting), we welcome anglers of all levels. Want to join the fun? Head over to our website and click on the membership button for all the details.
Your catch reports are essential! Share them with info about the size of the fish, the venue, and other relevant tidbits. Remember, snap those photos in landscape view. It helps everyone enjoy the thrill of the catch and expands our collective knowledge.
Privacy and data protection? We take it seriously. Our comprehensive privacy policy ensures your information is safe. For more on that, just check our website.
A bit of history β we started as the Dartford Piscatorial Society and evolved into today's Dartford & District Angling & Preservation Society. Our home water, Brooklands Lakes, was generously donated by Mr. Ellingham. Even during World War II, the lakes were cherished and protected!
Health and safety are top priorities. We provide lake maps and all necessary details to ensure everyone enjoys the waters responsibly.
So, if you're in Dartford seeking a vibrant, inclusive fishing community, Ddaps Dartford Lakes is the place to be. Come join us for a fulfilling angling experience.
Tight lines,
Mark π£
