Are you the owner of DC Muay Thai?
David Collins, founder of DC Muay Thai, invites sports enthusiasts to Chessington Sports Centre in the United Kingdom to experience authentic Thai martial arts. His club offers tailored classes for both children and adults, divided into two distinct groups: LiL Dragons and Warriors.
The LiL Dragons class, aimed at children aged 4-10 years, combines playful activities with basic Muay Thai principles, ensuring a fun and engaging introduction. The Warriors class, for children aged 10-18, focuses more on Muay Thai techniques, incorporating padwork and sparring to refine their skills.
David emphasises the multiple benefits of enrolling children in Muay Thai. Beyond acquiring self-defence skills, they build confidence, learn to manage fears, and even gain insights into Thai language and culture. His approach ensures that each child progresses at their own pace, avoiding undue pressure and fostering personal development.
