Possible. At Dawson's Academy of Dance & Stage, we pride ourselves on being Bolton's leading dance and stage school for the past 35 years. Established in 1987, we have grown from small beginnings into one of the largest and most respected schools in the North West of England.
Our academy offers a wide range of classes and training for children and students in various disciplines, including classical ballet, modern dance, tap dance, jazz dance, commercial dance, limbering, boys' classes, show work/stage classes, choir group classes, singing courses, drama classes/workshops, and one-on-one tuition. We believe in providing our students with a well-rounded education in the performing arts, allowing them to develop their skills and express themselves creatively.
Throughout our 35 years of operation, our pupils have had the privilege of performing on some of the most prestigious stages in the country, including The Albert Halls, The Palace Theatre, The Lowry Theatre, The Blackpool Opera House, The Globe Theatre Blackpool, The Middleton Arena, The De Vere Hotel group, The Palace Hotel, The Hilton Hotel, and Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. Our students have also had the opportunity to represent Bolton Town in Paderborn, Germany, and have performed for celebrities such as John Major, Margaret Thatcher, and George Sampson.
Not only do we provide our students with amazing performance opportunities, but we also give back to the community. Over the years, our pupils have raised thousands of pounds for charitable causes through their performances. We believe in instilling a sense of philanthropy and giving back in our students, allowing them to use their talents to make a positive impact on the world.
At Dawson's Academy of Dance & Stage, we are immensely proud of our past graduates who have gone on to attend top colleges across the country and have achieved DADA Awards. Many of our ex-students are currently appearing on stage in hit musicals such as Matilda, Fame the Musical, Guys and Dolls, and on the new Wicked tour. We take great pride in the success of our students and are dedicated to providing them with the training and guidance they need to pursue their dreams in the performing arts.
As we celebrate our 35th anniversary this year, we are excited about the forthcoming celebrations and shows that are planned throughout the year. None of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our strong team at the Academy, as well as the support of our amazing students and their parents. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented individuals and look forward to nurturing the next generation of stars at Dawson's Academy of Dance & Stage.
