Darley Moor Motor Cycle Road Racing Club Ltd is excited to announce Racing Membership opportunities for the year 2024. With a range of events scheduled throughout the year, there are plenty of chances for motorbike enthusiasts to get involved.
For those looking to test their skills, the Basic Rider Assessment Tests are scheduled for Monday 4th March. This is an excellent opportunity for riders to gauge their readiness for the upcoming races.
Mark your calendars for Saturday 13th April, as there will be a Test Day for riders to familiarise themselves with the track before the first official race of the season, Round 1, on Sunday 14th April.
With various championship classes on offer such as the Classic & Forgotten Era Class, Lightweight Class, and the Wilson Trophy, there is something for every rider to compete in.
To become a part of the action, interested participants will need to secure a Racing Membership. The club offers memberships for drivers and riders at £20.00, with passengers at £10.00. Membership numbers can be obtained upon submission of the Membership Application Form.
Entry fees for the 2024 races are £165.00 for the first Solo Class, and £55.00 for additional classes, with Sidecars at £195.00. Ensure to register online through the club's booking portal to secure your spot.
On race days, each class will have a timed practice session followed by two races. Grid positions for the races will be determined by the results of the timed practice.
Remember to abide by Darley Moor's noise regulations with a limit of 105 Dba. Any machine that fails the noise test will not be permitted to start the meeting. Ensure to acquire your ACU Licence for 2024 races at a fee of £70.00.
