Dancing Angels NZ (Sri Lanka Academy of Dance & Drama) is a dynamic dance school and cultural association based in Auckland, New Zealand. The school is led by Nadee Priyadarshani, a highly experienced dance teacher and choreographer. Nadee holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Special) degree from Colombo and has a background in teaching dance in government schools in Sri Lanka. She specialises in Sri Lankan traditional dance styles such as Kandyan, Sabaragamu, and Low Country. Additionally, she has knowledge and expertise in Bharatha Natyam, ballet, Bollywood dance, and belly dancing, making her a versatile and well-rounded instructor.
At Dancing Angels NZ, students have the opportunity to learn various dance styles in a supportive and inspiring environment. The school offers classes in Sri Lankan traditional dance, teaching students with live traditional Sri Lankan drumbeat, which creates a unique and immersive learning experience.
