Liz was 13 when she joined Danceworks in Cheltenham and found her love for dance. She focused on ballet and contemporary and now teaches there!
Danceworks isn't just a dance studio; it's a buzzing community for all ages and skill levels to learn and grow. There are five spacious studios and a new coffee shop coming soon, perfect for a post-dance break.
It's run by Whanita La Bouchardiere and John Simkin, who bring tons of experience and passion. Qualified teachers hold British Ballet Organisation (BBO) status, and there are Teaching Assistants for younger students, so everyone gets the help they need.
Kids can dive into ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, street, break, lyrical, and acrobatic arts. Stageworks, the theatre school within Danceworks, offers drama, singing, and dance classes. Adults can join in with classes like ballet, street dance, hip hop, and even yoga. There’s something for everyone, no matter their skill level.
At Danceworks, the love for dance shines through. Whether you're starting fresh or polishing up your moves, it’s a supportive space to grow. The new term kicks off on Monday 8th January, so there's no better time to become part of the Danceworks family!
