Dance Social Gatineau

Dance Social Gatineau is a Ballroom dance school in Gatineau, offering certified teaching in a variety of dance styles. Founded in 1995 by Michel, who has been involved in dance since 1980 as an amateur, participating in various competitions. Michel's passion and dedication to dance led him to win the 1st place at the Canadian Championships in 1995 in the Silver category, and he later transitioned to a professional level to share his knowledge with others.

The school aims to create a community of dancers in the Outaouais region to organize dance events at affordable prices while raising funds to support LEUCAN, an organization that has been dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families for over 45 years. Dance Social Gatineau also offers free dance classes in January 2024, providing an opportunity for new dancers to explore their passion for dance.

Michel, a certified dance instructor in 10 dances, provides personalized teaching for couples either in private sessions at his studio or at the clients' homes, at their own pace. The school also offers group classes for a minimum of 8 couples and a maximum of 16, allowing students to progress rapidly through technical advice and educational technology. Each student receives a dance guide for social or international dances to aid in memorization and improvement.
