Dance Research Studio, founded by Jacky Lansley, is a welcoming dance and yoga space in Hackney, London. Since 2002, it's been a hub for creative dancers, offering classes, workshops, and studio hire.

The studio itself is bright and open, with large windows, a high ceiling, and a sprung floor. It’s got all the kit you’d need – from a sound system to yoga mats.

Rates are reasonable too. For rehearsals, it’s £12/hr for unsubsidized and £14/hr for subsidised bookings on weekdays, 10 am to 6 pm, with discounts for block bookings. Classes are £25/hr with possible discounts, and for special hires like workshops or auditions, you can contact them for rates.
