Our principal, Julie, has over 20 years of experience in the dance industry and is dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing environment for all dancers. Julie's love for dance is contagious, and she instils a sense of joy and passion in every class she teaches. Alongside Julie, we have a team of talented and experienced teachers who specialise in various dance styles, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded education.

At Dance Pointe Academy, we offer a wide range of dance classes to cater to dancers of all ages and abilities. From Acro and Ballet to Commercial, Contemporary Tap, Technical Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Mini Movers, there is something for everyone. Whether you're a beginner looking to try out a new hobby or an advanced dancer aspiring to pursue a career in the industry, we have the perfect class for you.

We have two dance studios, located in Penicuik and Peebles, where our classes are held. Throughout the year, Dance Pointe Academy offers various performance opportunities, competitions, and examinations. While participation in these activities is not mandatory, they provide a chance for our students to showcase their skills and gain valuable stage experience.
