Dancelife-uk is a vibrant dance company based in New Zealand, offering a variety of dance events and classes for dance enthusiasts. The creators and owners, Colin and Heather, firmly believe that dance should always be about pleasure and enjoyment, and they strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

One of the main highlights of Dancelife-uk is their regular dance nights held at the prestigious Hotel Rendezvous in Skipton. Every Wednesday, Colin, and Heather act as resident MCs, hosting a ballroom, Latin, and sequence dance night from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. The fully air-conditioned ballroom provides a comfortable setting for dancers, and attendees can enjoy a 20% discount on all food and drinks. Additionally, there is a free raffle and ample onsite parking.

Admission to the Wednesday dance night is 6. 00 per person.

For those looking to dance on Saturdays, Dancelife-uk also offers a bi-weekly dance night at the beautiful Greenacre Hall in Rawdon. This event, held every second and fourth Saturday of the month, includes ballroom, Latin, and sequence dance from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their own nibbles, and the large smooth floor is ideal for a variety of dance styles. Parking is conveniently available in the large three-sided car park.

Admission to the Saturday dance night is 5. 50 per person.

In addition to these regular dance nights, Dancelife-uk hosts special events like the Grand Dinner Dance. This highly anticipated event, held on specific dates in 2024 (yet to be decided), offers a day of dance from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hotel Rendezvous. Attendees can enjoy a hot meal at 3:30 pm, followed by more dancing and a scrumptious chocolate roll cake at 6:15 pm. The event concludes with a final dance session until 7:00 pm.

Booking in advance provides a 5 discount per couple, and on-the-door tickets are available if the event is not sold out.

Dancelife-uk also organises free, open-air dance events in their hometown of Otley. These events aim to promote dance for everyone to enjoy and have a great time. In a recent event held on Sunday 7th August 2022, Dancelife-uk raised a remarkable total of 621. 70 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The atmosphere was described as amazing all day long, and participants had a delightful day of dancing, relaxation, and fun on the plaza.
