Dance Connect

Rachel Webb would like to extend a warm welcome to all members of our sports community. As many of you may already know, Dance Connect, located right here in Kinross, offers an array of dance styles to suit everyone’s taste and talent. Rachel established Dance Connect back in 1995, initially teaching from her home in Glenfarg, and she’s been a fully registered RAD teacher since 1997.

The school covers a diverse range of dance styles, from Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Street to Contemporary, Music Theatre, and Highland Dance. What's more, classes start from as young as three years old, so there’s truly something for everyone, including adults who’ve always fancied giving it a go.

Classes are held in purpose-built studios, ensuring plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Rachel and her highly trained team specialise in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, and Jazz, perfectly preparing those who might wish to take their skills to a vocational level.

One of the year’s big highlights is the annual dance show at a local theatre, where the students can showcase their hard work and talent. It’s a fantastic time for the whole community to come together.

Rachel herself has an impressive background, having trained at the Royal Ballet School. She’s not just passionate about dance but also ensures she stays up-to-date with various qualifications, including recently becoming a licenced Silver Swan Ballet instructor for the over 55s and a certified DDMIX and Fit Steps instructor.

The team includes remarkable instructors like Becky Colligan, who brought street dance to Dance Connect's curriculum, and Meghan Davies, who’s been under Rachel's wing since she was ten and now teaches RAD ballet classes.

At Dance Connect, Rachel and her team believe foundational ballet skills translate across all dance styles, and they are committed to promoting health and well-being through dance. So, whether you’re young, not-so-young, or somewhere in between, Dance Connect promises an enriching environment for all.
