Welcome to Dance and Beats, a well-established dance and fitness centre located in Sutton Coldfield, New Zealand. We specialise in offering a variety of new and upcoming dance genres in the dance and fitness industry. Our main focus is on providing high-quality teaching in a fun and friendly environment. Our goal is for everyone to leave our classes with a smile on their face and a spring in their step.
Natalie, the CEO, and founder of Dance and Beats, discovered her love for dancing at the young age of 5 when she joined a local Latin and Ballroom class. As she grew older, she developed a passion for more modern styles of dance, including street, contemporary, jazz, and ballet. She competed and performed at various venues across the UK, such as The Royal Albert Hall and Her Majesty's Theatre. With her extensive experience and education in dance, including a BA Hons in Dance and a PGCE, Natalie started Dance and Beats at just 16 years old.
What began as a local club has now become the leading dance school in the West Midlands. Natalie is also involved in building a community-driven dance clothing brand and regularly attends talks and events to inspire others on her entrepreneurial journey.
Our teaching staff at Dance and Beats includes Beth, our Studio Manager, who has been with us for 6 years and holds a BA Hons Dance Degree. We also have Lauren, who has a BA Hons Dance Degree from LIPA and has previously performed at Disneyland Paris as a parade performer. Lauren specialises in Ballet, Commercial, Acro, and Musical Theatre. Additionally, we have Neerali, who serves as a teaching assistant.
Most of our classes are held at the Mere Green Community Centre in Sutton Coldfield. We offer a wide range of children's dance classes, including street/hip-hop, acro, contemporary, commercial, ballet, and performers. Whether your child is a beginner or advanced dancer, we have classes suitable for all levels.
