Danceability

Danceability is a vibrant dance studio in Saint John, offering a wide range of classes and competitive teams in a safe and caring environment. With a focus on tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, acro, and hip hop, Danceability strives to provide high-quality instruction while creating lasting memories and experiences for its students.

Located in the heart of Saint John's east side, Danceability serves over 300 students annually and boasts at least seven competitive teams. The studio was established in 1997 by Anne Stephen, who was a beloved mentor to many dancers and teachers in the community. Following her passing in 2018, her daughter, Heather, took over as director and continues to uphold her mother's legacy of love and passion for dance.

At Danceability, the mission is to provide all students with top-quality lessons to help them build a strong foundation in classical dance styles. The studio aims for its dancers to not only be strong and safe but to also truly enjoy the art of dance. Dance is life at Danceability, where the goal is to uplift, unite, and bring joy to the hearts of all who enter the space.

In addition to regular classes and competitive teams, Danceability also offers special events like the Disney Dance Camp, which combines the magic of Disney with the joy of dance for an unforgettable experience. Alumni and graduates of Danceability are celebrated and recognized for their contributions to the studio over the years, forming a tight-knit community of dancers who continue to support and uplift each other. With a rich history and a bright future, Danceability is a place where passion for dance meets a supportive and welcoming environment for all.
