The Dance Centre's Dance Tots class is the perfect opportunity for little ones aged 3–5 years to discover the world of Ballet and Modern dance. Led by our dedicated team of early years dance specialist tutors and assistants, this class aims to create a fun and engaging environment for our young dancers.
In Dance Tots, children are introduced to the concepts and techniques of the Pre Primary ISTD syllabus in Modern and Ballet. But don't worry, we understand that this is just the beginning of their dance journey, so we make sure to teach it in a basic and enjoyable way. We want to spark their love for dance from an early age!
But it's not just about learning the moves. Our little dancers also have the chance to learn fun and exciting routines. We encourage them to always give their best effort and attend every session. To motivate and reward their commitment, we have a special bespoke reward system in place. We believe in celebrating their progress every step of the way!
And the fun doesn't stop there! Our Dance Tots also have the incredible opportunity to perform in our annual Dance Show. This show takes place in a professional theatre during the Spring/Summer Term, giving our young dancers a taste of what it's like to perform on a big stage. It's an amazing chance for them to interact with older dance students and witness the progression that lies ahead for them in our School.
As our little dancers grow and develop, usually during their Year 1 school year, they are ready to move on to our Primary Examination Classes. Alongside this, they also begin their journey into the world of Tap Dance, in preparation for their ISTD exams. It's an exciting time for them as they continue to explore different dance styles and expand their skills.
Currently, our Dance Tots classes are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We understand the busy schedules of parents and want to make sure that our classes are accessible for everyone.
