Fran welcomes everyone to the Dalgety Bay Sports & Leisure Centre. Located right in the heart of Dalgety Bay, this centre offers a range of facilities and activities for individuals and families of all ages to enjoy.
The centre’s opening hours are as follows:
- Monday: 7:00am – 10:00pm
- Tuesday: 7:00am – 11:30am / 3:30pm – 10:00pm
- Wednesday: 7:00am – 10:00pm
- Thursday: 7:00am – 10:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 10:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Please note that the reception closes 45 minutes before the building shuts, and the gym closes 15 minutes prior. Access to specific activities may vary based on the timetable. It's important that children under 8 are not left unaccompanied within the centre, and lockers require a refundable 20p coin for use.
Dalgety Bay Sports & Leisure Centre is fully accessible. There’s level access, disabled parking, unassisted wheelchair access, and a lift that goes to the lower floor. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome. The reception features an induction loop system, and there are disabled toilets and changing facilities.
To find the centre, head to Harbour Drive in Dalgety Bay. From the west on the A921, take a right at the roundabout by the railway station. The sports centre is about 100 metres along this road on the left. Free car parking is available on-site, and the train station is within walking distance.

Fran is thrilled to announce the new Rise Gymnastics sessions, in partnership with Scottish Gymnastics and British Gymnastics. The classes cater to various age groups, from Rise Gymnastics Tots (walking age to 3 years) to Rise Gymnastics Excel (8 years plus). Contact reception or visit the website for more details and to book.
For young gym enthusiasts, there are Junior Gym sessions. Led by a qualified gym instructor, these sessions cover cardio, HIIT, resistance training, circuits, and more. They ensure users are equipped to use the state-of-the-art gym equipment correctly and safely. Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Football coaching is also on offer, in collaboration with the SFA. These sessions focus on fun and skill development through games. There are classes for all levels, from Tots Kickers (parent and child session for 18 months to 3 years) to Junior Football (primary 1-3). More details are available on the website.
If you love to dance, the Freestyle Dance classes are a fantastic way to learn and have fun. These classes combine various styles like disco, hip-hop, ballroom, and jazz. Participants will learn unique moves and routines. Classes are held in the Studio, and suitable footwear includes bare feet or dance shoes. The centre also offers 49ers Activity Sessions for children aged 4 to 15 years. These multi-activity clubs include sports, arts and crafts, and team-building games—a great way for children to stay active and make friends.
