The D-League Basketball Tournament organized by Cootamundra Basketball Association is all about nurturing talent within the NSW Spalding Waratah Junior Leagues. Mark your calendars for the 2024 D-League dates: September 28-29 for the U16-18 age group at Penrith, and October 26-27 for the U14-15 age group, also at Penrith.
The age groups for the tournament include U14 Boys & Girls (born 2012), U15 Boys & Girls (born 2011), U16 Boys & Girls (born 2010), and U18 Boys & Girls (born 2009/2008). Selection for D-League is based on a range of criteria, including performance at BNSW High Performance Trials, the input of BNSW High-Performance Coaches, and past showings at BNSW events. Athletes hoping to make the cut need to showcase the essential skills and qualities sought after in a competitive environment.
