The highlight of Cypress Lakes Resort is its championship golf course, spanning over 6,487 metres with a par of 72. Designed by renowned architect Steve Smyers from Florida, the course offers panoramic views of the famous Hunter Valley vineyards and the majestic Brokenback mountain range. The fairways feature dramatic shapes and elevation changes, while the 60 strategically placed bunkers and generously sized greens make for a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. The Cypress Lakes Golf course welcomes both the public and resort guests seven days a week, with dedicated tee times for members on Wednesday and Saturday. Golfers can take advantage of the latest Golf, Burger & Beer deal for $109 per person, available Monday to Thursday (excludes competition days). The Bistro Kitchen is open from 12 pm to 4 pm, providing delicious meals for golfers to enjoy. Green fees, including a shared cart with Visage GPS, vary from $95 to $120 for 18 holes, and $64 to $84 for 9 holes.

Cypress Lakes maintains a smart dress code on the golf course, requiring golf shoes with soft spikes (soft sole runners are accepted). Suitable golf attire is mandatory, including a collared shirt, tailored slacks or shorts (no jeans, denim shorts, tracksuits, or drawstring pants). The resort strictly prohibits bringing outside alcohol, providing a selection of alcoholic beverages at the Proshop and Bar. Compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is strictly enforced, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all players.
