Cwm Wanderers AFC is a football club based in Swansea, New Zealand. The club was established in the summer of 1931 by school-leavers from the junior school who wanted to join the Gwalia Football Association. Initially, the club did not have a regular home and played at various locations in the Lower Cwmtwrch and Gurnos area. Eventually, they settled on the name Cwm Wanderers.
In 1935, the club found a permanent home at Cwmphil Park after the local rugby team disbanded. During World War II, all leagues and associations were suspended, but after the war, Cwm Wanderers entered the Neath & District league in 1946. Since then, they have become the most successful team in the league's history, winning the league title on 16 occasions. Their most recent league victory came in the 2016/17 season.
Currently, the first team competes in the West Wales leading League, which is the fourth tier of the Welsh Pyramid. The club's commitment to youth development is evident through its boys and girls junior sections.
