Cumbernauld Gymnastics Club in Cumbernauld, Glasgow, is a fixture in British gymnastics. With nearly 50 years under its belt, the club, previously situated in Broadwood, now calls Mollins Court, Westfield its home. Carol, the club organiser, ensures the club's legacy of excellence continues, providing classes for all ages and skill levels.

The club has a history of stellar achievements, including national and international titles. Gymnasts trained here have competed in events from regional Scottish competitions to the Commonwealth Games, regularly excelling in FIG, British Compulsory, and Voluntary Levels.

Carol offers a spectrum of classes to accommodate varying ages and abilities. For the youngest members, aged 0-4, Parent and Toddler sessions are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, encouraging parent-led play with advanced online bookings required.

Mini Pre Gym classes for children aged 3-5 take place on Wednesdays and Fridays, featuring 45-minute sessions that include warm-ups, basic gymnastics, and guided equipment use. For those aged 4 and 5, the Pre Gym classes, held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, similarly focus on fundamental skills in a 45-minute format.

For kids 6 and above, Recreational classes on Mondays and Wednesdays offer a chance to learn gymnastics basics and improve flexibility, with full access to the gym's apparatus. For those focused on floor skills and vault, Floor and Vault classes on Tuesdays and Fridays cover a range of techniques from rolls to somersault preparations.

Carol's club also nurtures advanced talent through Development Squads for promising gymnasts, preparing them for regional and national competitions in the Womens Artistic discipline. These squads are by invitation, based on assessments from recreational classes.

The Team Squad, comprised of senior girls, trains extensively—up to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week—competing throughout the year in national grades and Scottish levels.
