Culverden Golf Club

G'day everyone,

Tom here from the Culverden Golf Club team wanted to pass along a quick update about what’s happening down at the course. Nestled in the lovely Amuri Basin, we've got stunning views over the Kaikoura Ranges to the north and the Southern Alps to the west — it’s a great spot for a round of golf.

We're right on State Highway 7, just a short 37 km drive south of Hanmer Springs. For those keen to pop in for a game, green fees for visitors are $20.

The whites at Culverden measure up at 5,244m with a NZCR Men rating of 67.4 (Slope 117), and the yellows are 4,730m, with a NZCR Women rating of 70.0 (Slope 114) and NZCR Men rating of 64.7 (Slope 110). The course is a mix of challenges, including a winding creek that keeps things interesting.

Our clubhouse is spacious, well set up, and available for hire if you need it for society days or visiting clubs. Day members, feel free to use the bar when it’s open.

Plenty happening each week:
- Twilight Golf on Fridays at 6pm till the end of March, with a BBQ for a fiver.
- Women’s Club Day on Thursdays with tee times at either 9:30am or 10:25am.
- Men’s Club Day on Saturdays starting at 12:30pm or 1:00pm.
