Join the Canterbury Basketball Academy, known locally as the Crusaders! Based right here in Canterbury, UK, the academy is all about helping players reach the top of their game. Under the guidance of full-time, top-tier coaches, players will get the expert support needed to develop their skills and grow as athletes.

At the Academy, there’s more than just top-notch coaching. Players benefit from a full support programme, including strength and conditioning training, physiotherapy, and sports science advice. A special partnership with a leading grammar school in Kent also ensures you can balance your sports training with excellent academic options.

A typical week here? Daily team training, small group sessions, video analysis, and if needed, physiotherapy. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to compete in leagues and tournaments, including the EABL and national league games.

Proudly selected by England Basketball as an England Development Programme (EDP) school, Canterbury Academy offers the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) for dedicated 16-19 year-olds. This two-year course is perfect for those aiming to excel in basketball while continuing their education.
