The class structure at CrossFit Seek begins with a workout explanation, where the coach breaks down the movements and identifies the stimulus of the workout. Scalable movement options are always provided to accommodate various fitness levels. The class then moves on to a warm-up, designed to activate the muscle groups used in the workout. Before starting the warm-up, the coach greets each individual personally.
Following the warm-up, there is typically a strength or gymnastics segment, which exposes members to Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, or bodyweight gymnastics movements. This segment helps members build strength and improve their overall fitness. The class then moves on to the workout of the day (WOD), which can be modified to ensure safety and accommodate individual needs.
CrossFit Seek also emphasises the importance of cooldown and mobility. Each class ends with stretches to maintain mobility and promote recovery. After the class, there is always time for socialising, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
