Dawn Close, the organiser, wishes to extend a warm invitation to you all to join Crossfit Longacre, a gym located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea that offers an engaging and supportive CrossFit programme. Dawn has built a community-focused environment, ensuring everyone feels motivated and supported as they work towards their fitness goals.

Crossfit Longacre maintains 1-hour classes capped at 16 participants, allowing each member to receive personalised attention from the coach, who is dedicated solely to coaching during the session. This ensures correct form and effective technique. Members also gain access to a private workout app and a Facebook group, fostering a space for motivation, support, and community engagement.

Dawn emphasises the sense of camaraderie at Crossfit Longacre, where members regularly encourage and challenge each other, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere. This is a place where individuals can push their limits and achieve new levels of fitness and strength.

Beyond regular classes, Crossfit Longacre offers health and fitness seminars on topics such as nutrition, women’s health, gymnastics, and weightlifting. These sessions provide valuable insights to enhance your fitness journey.

Recognising the importance of family, Dawn has ensured the gym is family-friendly, with a seating area for well-behaved children. This allows parents to focus on their workouts, assured that their children are safe and nearby. The gym welcomes individuals of all fitness backgrounds and levels.

The coaching team, led by Dawn herself, comprises experienced professionals dedicated to your fitness. Dawn, a certified CrossFit Level 2 and PT Level 3 coach, specialises in gymnastics and is passionate about helping women improve their techniques. Rose McMahon Glazebrook, a CrossFit Level 2 coach, brings her personal experience and advocacy for women's fitness to the team, while John Steele, a Level 1 coach and former professional dancer, incorporates his passion for Olympic weightlifting into the training sessions.
