Are you the owner of CRICKET ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND OF MAHARASHTRA?

Cricket Association for the Blind of Maharashtra (CABM) is a pioneering organization established in 2011, dedicated to promoting cricket for the blind and visually impaired across Maharashtra. Recognized under the Society Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Charitable Trust Act, 1950, CABM operates under the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and the World Blind Cricket Council (WBC). CABM aims to empower individuals through cricket, fostering independence of movement and enhancing physical capabilities for better adaptation to everyday life.
Offering specialized coaching camps and organizing numerous tournaments for men, women, and children, CABM ensures that players from Vidarbha, Marathwada, Khandesh, West Maharashtra, Konkan, and Mumbai divisions have access to essential resources and state-of-the-art facilities to hone their skills. These initiatives are testament to CABM’s commitment to enhancing the lives of blind cricketers, marked by numerous accolades and standout performances at both national and international levels.
CABM's efforts include hosting prestigious events like the 2nd T20 World Cup matches in 2017, the India-Sri Lanka Bilateral Series in 2019, and the Nagesh Trophy National Tournament in 2020. These events not only spotlight the incredible talents of blind cricketers but also raise awareness and build community support.
Striving to accord blind cricket the recognition it truly deserves, CABM collaborates with various NGOs and local partners to carry out its missions successfully. The organization’s dedication is reflected in the life-changing opportunities it provides, transforming lives by focusing on skills, not disabilities. CABM invites everyone to contribute and be a part of its transformative journey, ensuring that blind sports receive the same respect and recognition as mainstream sports.
