
Session is offered for first-time clients at Creekside Pilates. This session allows clients to discuss their goals, assess their posture and movement, and learn the basic principles of Pilates. Skye, the studio's instructor, teaches in both English and Korean, and will help clients bring these principles into their daily lives. The 50-minute session includes instruction on breathing techniques, pelvic alignment, core engagement, and movement, followed by a discussion.
Private Pilates sessions are also available at Creekside Pilates, tailored to each individual's needs. Using Pilates Mat, Reformer, Stability Chair, Spine Corrector, and small props, clients can experience a personalized workout to enhance their physical well-being.
Located at 5-1786 Esquimalt Avenue in West Vancouver, Creekside Pilates is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac road, just to the left of the pedestrian bridge that crosses Larson Creek. Parking is available in two visitor spots in front of the building, or on 17th Street if required. Any comfortable exercise attire is suitable for workouts, with sticky socks recommended but not required.
Owner and instructor Skye was born in Korea and now resides in Vancouver. Her journey to Pilates began while studying World Literature and travelling in Canada, where she discovered a love for the intricacies of body movement and exercise. Skye holds certifications in Mat Pilates from Polestar Pilates in Canada and Stott Pilates in Canada, and is dedicated to sharing her passion for Pilates with her clients at Creekside Pilates.
