The Australian Ultra Runners Association's running club in Brisbane is excited to promote the upcoming Cradle Mountain Run! This one-day event is a thrilling traverse of Tasmania's renowned Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair Overland Track.
Now, this isn't your average run in the park. The track throws some serious challenges at the runners, with altitudes soaring over 1,000 meters in certain areas. Even in the supposed warmth of summer, the conditions can be tough and unforgiving.
Covering an impressive distance of approximately 78 kilometres, participants can expect to spend anywhere between 8 and 15.5 hours conquering this epic run. However, the majority of runners usually wrap up their adventure in around 12 to 13 hours, reaching the beautiful Cynthia Bay.
The event is proudly organised by the Cradle Mountain Run Association, a group dedicated to providing an exhilarating experience for passionate runners like yourself. If you have any inquiries or wish to register for this remarkable event, feel free to shoot them an email at [email protected].
So, lace up those running shoes, stretch those muscles, and get ready for an unforgettable journey through the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair Overland Track. The Cradle Mountain Run is waiting for you!
