Welcome to Country Roots, a dance club owned and operated by Mike and Sharon, who have a combined dancing experience of over 35 years. Mike, a fully qualified Linedance Instructor since 2002, teaches while Sharon takes care of the meet and greet aspect of the club. Their friendly, fun, and professional approach creates an ideal environment for dancing, laughter, and meeting new friends.
Classes are held at Butterwick Village Hall, located on Church Road in Butterwick. The club offers classes at various levels and times throughout the week to accommodate dancers of all skill levels and availability.
Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm is the Improver/Intermediate level class, which is suitable for dancers with some experience. Tuesday mornings from 11:00am to 12:30pm is the Easy Level class, recommended for dancers with previous line dancing experience. Wednesday afternoons from 2:00pm to 3:30pm is the Easy Improver class, perfect for those with some experience or those looking to get back into line dancing. Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm is the Beginner class, designed for anyone who wants to learn line dancing alongside other beginners.
Each class has its own specific details and requirements. The Monday Improver/Intermediate class is not suitable for beginners, while the Tuesday Beginners Class is not suitable for absolute beginners. The Wednesday Afternoon Easy Improver class is ideal for dancers with some experience or those getting back into it. The Wednesday Evening Beginner class welcomes newcomers who want to learn alongside like-minded beginners.
