Welcome to Coulsdon and Purley Badminton Club, nestled in South Croydon, UK. With a rich history spanning over 70 years, this club has become a cornerstone of the local sports scene. John, our dedicated organiser, takes pride in offering a family-friendly environment for players of all ages and abilities.
The club boasts over 200 members, from beginners to county-level players. Whether you're new to badminton or looking to improve your skills, you'll find a supportive and welcoming community here. Teams participate in both county and local leagues, providing ample opportunities for competitive play.
Our purpose-built badminton hall includes three courts meeting county standards, complete with quality lighting and a brand-new sprung wood floor, enhancing your play experience.
Besides badminton, we have a longstanding tennis club with over 150 members. Our five all-weather courts, including three floodlit ones, mean you can enjoy a game at your convenience. Visitors are always welcome to join in the fun.
Starting January 2024, we're trialling Pickle Ball sessions – a sport that mixes elements of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton. We encourage everyone to give it a go as it's been gaining popularity.

We also offer our venue for hire. With a large downstairs bar and an upstairs room with a kitchenette, our spaces are ideal for various events and conveniently located near South Croydon station.
