Welcome to Cotswolds Riding at Jill Carenza Equestrian Ltd, located in the beautiful Cotswold village of Stanton, just a few miles from Broadway. Since 1975, Jill Carenza (formerly Gabb) has been offering riding lessons and Bed & Breakfast accommodations in her charming 17th century Cotswold stone house, The Vine.

At Cotswolds Riding, riders of all levels can enjoy lessons and hacks on well-schooled horses. With over 50 horses and ponies available, Jill has the perfect horse for each rider's ability and comfort. Children can also have a fantastic riding experience with our adorable ponies.

While staying at The Vine, there is more to enjoy besides horse riding. The picturesque Cotswold Way footpath runs right past the property, offering scenic walks. Golfing opportunities are also available nearby. In addition, popular towns and cities such as Bath, Cheltenham, Chipping Campden, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Stow-on-the-Wold are easily accessible.

Our riding centre and Bed & Breakfast are open year-round, allowing visitors to experience the unique pleasures of each season in the Cotswolds.

Jill Carenza, a Gloucestershire native, has a lifelong passion for horse riding and instruction. She began riding before she could even walk and rode to school starting at the age of five. Although she competed at an advanced level, her true love has always been teaching. Jill is dedicated to helping each rider achieve their personal goals, whether it's eventing, cross-country riding, or simply gaining confidence in hacking out.

Her teaching methods combine challenge and encouragement, supported by the selection of horses and training facilities available. Many riders have been amazed by their rapid progress under her guidance.

The opening hours for our riding stables are from 08:00 to 18:00, while our Carenza Clobber shop opens from 09:00 to 17:00. The Bed & Breakfast at The Vine is available, but it's recommended to check for availability before making a booking.
