With a history dating back to 1895, the club recently celebrated its 125-year anniversary. The club is committed to providing high-quality, sporting cricket for all players, regardless of age or gender.
The club offers a wide range of cricket opportunities for both junior and adult players. For junior players, there are boys and girls sections available for all age groups. The club also has a successful ladies section and highly competitive adult teams. From All Stars cricket for 5 to 8-year-olds, to a U19 team, players of all ages and skill levels can find their place at the club.
Corse & Staunton Cricket Club boasts an impressive list of teams. The club fields three Saturday league XIs, a ladies XI, a girls U13 team, and a mid-week evening league side. The 1st XI is known to be one of the top club teams in Gloucestershire, and in 2021, they secured victory in the WEPL Gloucestershire Division. It's worth noting that many of the players in the 1st XI have come through the club's junior ranks, which is a source of great pride for the club.
The club's home ground is located on the Gloucester Road (A417), on the southern edge of the villages. This ground has been the club's home since 1952 and is cherished by players, parents, and supporters. The clubhouse is a welcoming and sociable space where everyone can enjoy the camaraderie and community spirit that cricket fosters.
