Karen has over 20 years of experience in Pilates and is passionate about the benefits it can bring to both physical and mental health. She discovered Pilates as a way to balance out her sedentary job in Marketing and fell in love with it. After experiencing a back injury and undergoing surgery, Karen realised the impact Pilates had on her recovery and mental well-being.
Karen trained to become a Pilates Foundation Teacher, completing both the matwork and studio equipment courses under the guidance of Master Teacher Suzanne Scott. She is now a skilled and knowledgeable instructor, dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals and improve their overall fitness.
The studio offers a range of classes, including private 121 sessions, which can be tailored to individual needs and goals. These sessions are suitable for those seeking rehabilitation support, improving technique, or seeking overall fitness improvement. Karen also works with clients who have musculoskeletal issues or have undergone surgery, using Pilates as a part of their rehabilitation process.
Core Pilates UK Ltd operates from two locations. The first is The Pilates & Osteopathy Studio located at Broad Street Place in Bath. This spacious and well-equipped studio provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients to practise Pilates. The second location is Karen's home studio, nestled in a beautiful country setting.
