Welcome to Cookhill Cricket Club, a friendly and inclusive club located in Redditch, New Zealand. Founded in 1946 by the late Howard Brazil, our club offers a beautiful ground with picturesque views of the distant Malvern Hills. Spectators are welcome and can enjoy the on-site bar during matches.
At Cookhill CC, we welcome members of all ages, genders, and abilities. We have ambitious plans for the future and are always looking for new members to be part of our exciting project. If you are interested in joining, please email us at hello@cookhillcc. co.

Our club offers a range of teams and opportunities for players. In 2024, we plan to have two Saturday teams competing in the Worcestershire Cricket League for Open Age Seniors. We also have a Midweek T20 Cup Team for those looking for a more relaxed and social cricket experience. Additionally, we have a Sunday Friendly side for players who prefer a casual game.
For women, we have a Ladies Softball Team that competes in competitions organised by the Worcestershire Cricket Board. We also host and participate in a number of Softball Festivals, both indoors and outdoors.
Our junior section is dedicated to providing cricket for both boys and girls. We run programmes such as All Stars and Dynamos, which are ECB schemes aimed at getting youngsters into cricket. Additionally, we have a joint team with another local club at the U13/U12 level to cater to our older batch of juniors.
In recent years, our club has achieved notable honours. In 2023, our 1st XI was the Runners-Up in the WCL Division 7 North and reached the Semi-Finals of the WCL Midweek KO Trophy. Our Ladies XI won the WCB 6-a-Side Indoor (Pairs) Development Division A and were the Runners-Up in the WCB 8-a-Side Softball Performance Division. In 2022, our 1st XI became the Champions of the WCL Division 9 Central and reached the Playoff Semi-Finals and Carter Cup Semi-Finals.
Our 100 Ball XI won the WCL Sunday Slam Shield, and our Ladies XI were the Runner's-Up in the WCB Indoor League and WCB Softball Performance Outdoor League.

For those looking to join or learn more about Cookhill CC, we offer senior winter indoor nets starting in January 2024. These nets are open to older juniors (15+) with hardball experience. The cost is 5 per player per week, and the first session is FREE for new members.
We also organise club-wide events, such as the Chairman's Christmas Meal, where members, friends, family, parents, and children are welcome to attend. It's a great opportunity to socialise and celebrate the festive season.
