Contrology Gymnasium

Contrology Gymnasium, located in Arrowtown, Queenstown, is a dedicated Pilates studio focused on providing a bespoke workout experience that aims to create a better-functioning body. To ensure a positive and efficient experience, Contrology Gymnasium has a few policies in place. They have a studio cancellation policy of 12 hours for semi-private sessions and 24 hours for private and duet sessions. They encourage clients to arrive five minutes early, ready to sweat and collaborate with their teachers. Questions are always welcome, as perfection is not required.

Clients are encouraged to attend sessions frequently, with a minimum of twice a week. They are also encouraged to pay attention to how their body feels and observe improvements in strength, fitness, and mental clarity.

Within the studio, Contrology Gymnasium maintains a high standard of etiquette. Clients are asked to remove their shoes, turn off their phones, and refrain from wearing active wear with zippers. Chewing gum and body odour are also not permitted.

Contrology Gymnasium offers various session options to cater to different needs. Private sessions provide individual attention from a teacher, allowing clients to work at their own pace and focus on specific areas. Duet sessions are for two clients who share a teacher, and clients are encouraged to book these sessions together to ensure they are charged appropriately. Semi-private sessions are mini classes with only two clients in the studio, either performing the same exercises or following their own programme.
