If you have at least one to two years of contemporary dance practice under your belt, including floor work, then this class is tailored for you. The session kicks off with an engaging warm-up, moving seamlessly in and out of the floor. From there, you'll progress to technical center exercises that focus on essential elements like strength, alignment, balance, and coordination.
Throughout the class, you'll have the chance to explore movement phrases that involve suspension, falls, and dynamic traveling. By the end of each term, you'll even have the opportunity to master a fully choreographed phrase! Just a small heads up, this class isn't suitable for beginners.
