Company 605 Dance Society

Company 605 Dance Society is a renowned dance company based in Vancouver, dedicated to exploring the exchange between separate individuals, bodies, and ideas. One of the notable projects by Company 605 is "Future Futures", a film series in collaboration with director Brian Johnson, exploring the digital evolution of the future human through experimental dance films. Artistic Co-Director Josh Martin presents "Brimming", a captivating solo performance that investigates the body as a rigid frame containing hidden inner contents. This piece delves into the concept of the body as a continuously changing space, filled and emptied, and inhabited in various states.
