Colchester Angling Preservation Society (CAPS), a long-standing angling society in Essex, has an upcoming fishing event at Inworth Grange Lake 1. This local fishing club, established in 1921, is known for providing excellent angling opportunities to its members. Existing members can easily renew their membership online, starting from around February 12th. As for new members, they'll have to wait until April 1st to submit their applications. The main objective of CAPS is to enhance the fishing experiences for its members. How do they do it? By continuously improving their existing fisheries and acquiring new waters for angling. CAPS takes care of 15 stillwaters, spanning over an impressive 80 acres. They also maintain over 12 miles of the Chelmer & Blackwater Canal and have a fantastic 5-mile stretch of the River Stour between Nayland and Langham. Additionally, they have a 1-mile section of the River Stour at Henny.
The waters managed by CAPS are home to a wide range of fish species, ensuring that every angler finds something to enjoy.
