Code White Krav Maga

Code White Krav Maga is a martial arts school located in Saint John, offering authentic Israeli Krav Maga training. The system of self-defence was developed for the Israeli military, equipping soldiers with effective tools to combat threats on the battlefield and in real-world situations. The classes at Code White Krav Maga are kept small to ensure that professionally trained and certified instructors can focus on each student, helping them on their journey towards a stronger, healthier, and more confident future.

At Code White Krav Maga, adults aged 12 and up, as well as kids aged 7-11, can participate in classes. Whether you have prior martial arts experience or not, Krav Maga is designed to be accessible and easy to learn for everyone. The instructors at Code White Krav Maga will start all students at a beginner level, providing a strong foundation for continued growth.

Krav Maga, translated from Hebrew to English as “Contact Combat,” originated in the 1930s when Imi Lichtenfield organized resistance to defend his neighbourhood in Bratislava. Taking the best techniques from sport fighting and gaining experience on the streets, Imi developed the principles and foundation for Krav Maga. Immigrating to Palestine during WWII, Imi continued to teach self-defence to organizations that later became the IDF.
