Coatbridge Indoor Bowling Club is located within the Coatbridge Community Stadium on Quarry Street in Coatbridge. The club is proudly celebrating its 50th year and offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all players.
Bowls is a sport that is suitable for all ages and abilities, and beginners are encouraged to come and give it a try. We provide free coaching and have bowls available for new members to use. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or just starting out, we cater to all levels of experience.
At Coatbridge Stadium, we have eight indoor rinks available for use. We also offer free parking and have disabled access and facilities to ensure everyone can enjoy the sport. In addition, our club bowls are available for new members who do not have their own equipment, and we also have secure lockers for storage.
Our facilities extend beyond the bowling hall. We have large, flexible function, meeting, and event rooms for hire, making us an ideal venue for weddings, christenings, funerals, seminars, and other functions. Our Clifton Suite can accommodate up to 150 people, depending on the event, and features a large dance floor, bar, and changing room if needed.
Fuel up before or after your game at our on-site café, which is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The café serves a variety of meals, including teas, lunches, takeaways, buffets, and functions. Our bar is also open from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Coatbridge Indoor Bowling Club has seen great successes over the years. In 2022-2023, our ladies triples team won the British Isles Silver Medal, while our ladies league team emerged as SIBA West premier League Winners. Additionally, our senior fours team became SIBA Champions in 2023.
The Coatbridge Community Stadium, where our club is based, is owned and run by the 'Coatdyke and Cliftonville Community Group. ' It provides a hub for various community groups and events.
