Club Hakudokan, located in Montreal, has been teaching Judo since 1959 to individuals of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced belts. The dojo prides itself on the quality of its instruction and the spirit of camaraderie that makes it a safe and welcoming environment for learning and practising Judo. Under the guidance of our technical director, Alain Cortelessa (6th dan), our experienced instructors help students progress from white belt to black belt.
Club Hakudokan regularly hosts events and activities for its members, such as celebrations for birthdays and milestones, as well as memorials for past members. These events foster a sense of community and belonging among the club's members.
The club also holds an annual tradition called Keiko Osame, which is the final class of the year followed by a buffet. This event provides an opportunity for all Judokas to come together, celebrate their achievements, and enjoy a meal together.
For those interested in joining Club Hakudokan, the club offers a free trial week for prospective members to experience the dojo and its teachings before committing. The club's schedule and membership fees are available on the website for easy access.
