Club de Golf East Angus Inc. is a historic golf course located in East Angus, Quebec. Established in 1935 by engineer Howard Crutchfield, Dr. Henri Veilleux, Francis Pankin, and Leslie Morgan, the club has been a dream come true for golf enthusiasts in the region.
Originally a nine-hole course developed by the Brompton Pulp and Paper Co. , Club de Golf East Angus quickly gained a reputation as one of the best courses in the Eastern Townships.
Over the years, the club has hosted numerous high-level regional competitions, showcasing the talent of both members and visiting players. With dedicated volunteers like Grard “Putter” Bernier and families such as Reid, Trpanier, and Gendreau actively involved in the club's operations, Club de Golf East Angus has become known as a breeding ground for professional golfers. In 1994, Club de Golf East Angus expanded to a full 18-hole course, offering even more challenges and opportunities for golfers of all levels. The club is now owned by Mr. Ghislain Couture, who is dedicated to maintaining the traditions and excellence of the course. With a busy schedule of 25 tournaments planned for members and visitors alike, the club remains a popular destination for golfers looking to enjoy a round in a picturesque setting.
