If you're interested in trying out archery or looking for a new club to join, Club Falkirk Company of Archers is the perfect place for you. We cater to all skill levels and whether you're a seasoned archer or just starting out, you'll find a warm and supportive community here.
Our club has a long and proud history, dating back to the early 1930s. We've been honing our archery skills for decades and have even had some of our members represent Scotland and Britain at the team level. Moira Taylor, a valued member of our club, had the incredible opportunity to be the British Olympic Team Manager. It's safe to say that archery runs in our veins!
At Club Falkirk Company of Archers, we have a team of dedicated coaches who not only contribute to the club but also play a significant role in coaching across Scotland and in the administration of the Scottish Archery Association (SAA) and ArcheryGB. They're knowledgeable, experienced, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
We have weekly indoor shooting sessions in Central Falkirk from September to April, and when the weather allows, we move to the Westquarter & Redding Cricket Club in Brightons for outdoor sessions from April to September. Our main club evening is on Wednesdays, where we shoot from 7 to 9 pm outdoors and 7:30 to 10:30 pm indoors. We also have shooting sessions on Mondays from 6:45 to 9:00 pm indoors (outdoor times are arranged by appointment).
To ensure the well-being and progress of our members, there's always a coach present on Wednesdays to provide guidance and support. We believe in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported in their archery journey. Whether you're aiming for competitions or simply enjoy the social aspect of the sport, we'd be thrilled to have you join us.
So, if you're looking to become a part of a vibrant archery community in Falkirk, look no further than Club Falkirk Company of Archers. Come and experience the thrill of archery with us!
