Our state-of-the-art climbing wall systems are designed to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Each 7. 5m climbing panel is equipped with an auto belay feature, which automatically takes up the slack as you climb and lowers you gently and securely to the floor. This safety feature adds an extra layer of confidence and allows you to focus on conquering the heights.
At Clip N' Climb, we welcome climbers of all ages, starting from the age of 4. So, whether you're planning a family outing or seeking an adventurous activity with friends, bring the kids, bring the parents, and bring your trainers. It's time to bring it on!
Our climbing sessions at York Leisure Centre are structured to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all climbers. Each session includes a 10-minute safety briefing and kitting up, followed by 50 minutes of climbing. During term time, sessions are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, during school holidays, sessions will run every day at selected times.
To ensure seamless bookings and convenience, we recommend booking your session through the Better UK app or our website. Our prices are as follows: 13. 75 for adults, 12. 40 for juniors aged 8 to 16, and 11.
25 for juniors aged 4 to 8 (adult supervision required). Additionally, the Leap of Faith activity is available at 2. 50 per person, exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays for participants who are at least 1. 2m tall.
We also offer a special SEN climbing session every Friday from 3. 40pm to 4. 40pm. This session operates at a reduced capacity to create a comfortable environment for climbers with special educational needs.
Our trained instructors provide guidance and support to help climbers improve their skills and reach new heights.
Safety is our top priority at Clip N' Climb, and we have established certain health and safety rules to ensure a secure environment. Climbers are required to wear suitable clothing, avoiding dresses and skirts, while trainers or similar shoes must be worn. Hair should be tied back, and all jewellery should be removed.
Children aged 4 are welcome to climb during general sessions, but they must be accompanied by a non-climbing adult. The maximum weight limit for participants is 150kgs or 22 stone. We advise climbers to dress appropriately, avoiding cropped tops, short shorts, tops with hoods, or dresses. Appropriate trainers or closed-toe footwear should be worn.
For birthday celebrations with a twist, you can also book a birthday party at our York Clip N' Climb location. We offer two birthday party packages, including the Gold Package, which provides exclusive 1-hour arena hire for up to 20 participants.
