Clevedon Promenade Bowling Club has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1933, when Clevedon Council provided a public bowling green on the seafront. Over the years, the club has undergone several improvements, including the opening of a major extension in 1996.
Notably, the club shares the distinction of having one of the world's greatest bowlers, David Bryant C. B. E, as one of its members. David Bryant, alongside Alex Marshall, another world champion, participated in a challenge match hosted by the club in 1992, which attracted a large audience and showcased the top-tier talent.
